Location: Gurgaon / Manesar, Haryana

Qualification: Full-Time B.Tech

Experience: 2–6 Years

Preferred Industry: Automobile OEM Only

Department: Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA)

Purpose of the Role

The primary objective of this role is to achieve Zero Repeat Defects in supplier manufacturing processes by utilizing market feedback and implementing robust preventive measures during new model development.

The selected candidate will work closely with suppliers to ensure that lessons learned from previous issues are effectively incorporated into future products and processes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Drive Zero Repeat Defects

The Supplier Quality professional will:

• Analyze market complaints and warranty feedback
• Identify root causes of recurring defects
• Implement preventive actions at supplier locations
• Establish systems that eliminate repeat quality issues

The goal is to build a strong defect prevention culture throughout the supplier network.

2. CAPA Implementation

The candidate will lead:

• Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) activities
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
• Verification of corrective actions
• Effectiveness monitoring

Strong understanding of problem-solving methodologies such as:

• 8D Methodology
• 5 Why Analysis
• Fishbone Diagram
• A3 Problem Solving

will be highly beneficial.

3. Poka-Yoke Implementation

One of the major responsibilities is implementing Poka-Yoke (Mistake Proofing) techniques at supplier facilities.

Responsibilities include:

• Identifying potential failure points
• Developing error-proofing solutions
• Preventing human errors
• Reducing process variation
• Improving process capability

Poka-Yoke systems significantly contribute toward achieving zero defects.

4. Supplier Process Audits

The role involves conducting:

• Manufacturing Process Audits
• Product Audits
• Quality System Audits
• Layered Process Audits (LPA)

The candidate should possess knowledge of:

• IATF 16949 requirements
• Core Quality Tools
• Process controls
• Manufacturing quality systems

5. Benchmarking and Supplier Development
